Suggest Treatment For Allergic Reaction To Potassium Gluconate
Question: My name is XXXX, i had an alergic reaction to potassium gluconate, i have a rash on my chest and back, what should i do?
Hello,
if all you have is a rash, which means no shortness of breath, no hypotension etc then an antihistamine drug would be appropriate and - usually - effective. The substance that caused the allergic reaction, should be avoided in the future.
If you start having more serious symptoms like wheezes, shortness of breath etc then immediate medical help would be needed.
Kind Regards!
