Question: I have been clinically diagonesd for Allergic Rhinitis. Doctor prescribed for a week one tablet of ODIMONT-LC every night and COMBINASE-FT nasal spray.

He also took a blood test and asked me to see him after 4 days when i met him hebprescribed HETRAZAL 100mg for 3 weeks thrice daily as my eosinophil count was 900 and also asked me to continie the ODIMONT and nasal spray for same period. And a followup checkup after 3 weeks.

Ibwould like to know am I on right treatment and if taking medicines for so long duration will cause any damage which is long term. Kindly advice how safe is the prescribed treatment..

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query.
Hetrazan is prescribed in eosinophilia. You should continue with this and nasal dpray and odimont Lc.
It is absolutely correct line of management.
My advice is you should get a xray paranasal sinuses done and send me the picture. Any nasal pathology must be ruled out.
