Suggest Treatment For An Allergic Reaction To A Bug Bite
Question: Hi- my wife appears to have a bug bite of some kind, can you look and see whet you might think this could be? Any medication she should take? It has swolen across the area and itches.

I am so sorry to hear about this probable bite she had. This is very non specific besides the redness and probably itches. There is nothing to worry about. Applying a cortisone cream for relief of itches and limit inflammation is all that is needed. There is no need for a systemic drug at this time. Unless there is something else that you have failed to mention, she's good and would be very fine sooner than later.
