Suggest Treatment For An Itchy Rash Near The Hairline

Question: My daughter is 9 and she has had a rash on the back of her hairline that is itchy, with red dots for approx. 2 wks. We have checked for lice and do not see anything. She is now saying her scalp is also itchy but we do not see the rash or any other indicators on her scalp.
