Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and since case is diagnosed, I will furnish following preventive aspect for better management of disease on the basis of 'Parikartika'
1. since duration is of 15 days, thus you are probably suffering from acute anal fissure, thus let me know was it identified as primary or secondary anal fissure, since primary has got no identifiable cause, whereas secondary anal fissure is due to some cause/ disease?
2. since pain is there while passing stool which goes in favor of fissure, which means that patient is afraid to pass stool resulting in constipation which furthers aggravates the condition. [as the stool becomes harder he/she will require extra strain to pass them out resulting in more pain and tearing].
PS. liquid paraffin to soften stools
3. any underlying disease like: Inflammatory Bowel disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's disease, constipation and/or faulty lifestyle like sedentary habits, faulty feeding habits, mental stress, weakness of digestive system muscles.?
4. you can incorporate following methods to alleviate the symptoms:
. hot hip bath: sit in a tub of warm water for 10 minutes [2 times a day]
PS. Warm baths can relax the anal muscles, relieve irritation, and increase blood flow to the area.
. do not strain while passing stool, and use warm water or wet toilet paper but without perfume or alcohol(without soap) to clean your anus after each motion
PS. apply lognocaine jelly or pilex ointment locally 4-5 times/day before and after motion.
. avoid cold/tap/jet (western seat) water.
. if job demands sitting, make sure you get up every half an hour to relax for 5 minutes and then sit back, make a sponge cushion for your chair.
. keep you stool soft with stool softener, maintain proper hydration
. avoid straining and sitting in toilet for long time.
. prescription medicine for you are Trifla guggulu, abhyarishta, jatyadi tail, chitrakadi tail, navkarshik guggulu, takrarishta.
PS. please revert back with your concern regarding 1 & 3 query for further management of the disease, since if no relief is there with above treatment, one has to go for Fissurectomy or Anal dilatation, [gudavidaran in Ayurveda under aseptic condition is a pain free way of securing homeostasis] and since you are under Supervision of Doctor he must have given due consideration in taking up your case so be under his regular supervision.
