She told me it is intertigo and candida. Please suggest me some remedies and advice. I used to take more sugar before but started controlling for the past few days. I am following the prescrption attached with blood test result.
Please find details below and ESR is not a serious problem
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.
1. Your medicines are the following
(i) LUPIPAN-DSR contains pantoprazole 40 mg, domperidone 10 mg and this is for reducing gastritis.
(ii) GLYCOVIRA cream contains glycolic acid and helps in mark removal
(iii) Other creams, LS DEW soap and ONABET shampoo are to be used as recommended.
Impetigo is a crusting bacterial infection and candida is a fungal infection. The medicines are good and to be used as recommended by the dermatologist.
2. Your blood report is normal other than ESR. The ESR test is not important. ESR means erythrocyte sedimentation rate and tells the rate at which the red blood cells separate from the plasma. It is usually high in inflammatory and infectious conditions. A value of 26 mm is not a serious concern.
3. Eating sugar need not be controlled if your blood sugar level is normal. Your blood test report does not include blood sugar testing. Please get a random blood glucose done if your parents and and close relatives have diabetes.
4. Remedies for you are the following
(i) Please wash your genital area twice daily with warm water.
(ii) Avoid wearing tight inner clothes and jeans
(iii) Wear cotton inner clothes
(iv) Do not scratch the anus or groin since it might spread the impetigo and candida infection
(v) Please do not eat foods to which you are allergic.
5. It will take time for the stretch marks to go and your symptoms to improve. Please take the medicines, shampoo and soap regularly. Maintain personal hygiene and avoid sharing of clothes and towels. Wipe yourself dry after having bath.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,
Dr.Vivek
