Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
From the treatment suggested so far, it seems you have androgenetic alopecia.
Now minoxidil or rogaine is standard therapy for same. So I would like to know why is it contraindicated in your case.
In my clinical practice, I usually prescribe a hair supplement rich in vitamins, minerals, aminoacids along with minoxidil. If at all minoxidil cant be prescribed then I advise capixyl gel or peptide based products. These are said to have satisfactory response too. But treatment needs to be continued atleast for an year to have response.
As for your rash, please upload pics of area affected with itchy rash and also of your scalp so that i can see pattern and extent of hair fall. Please specify why is minoxidil contraindicated.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Take care
