Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Prominent Jugular Lymph Nodes
I had not seen a DR for 10 years. I just got this DR because im now 33 and wanted to get the basic check ups and exams and co workers said i should because i had occassional bouts (maybe 2-3 occurances a week) of dizziness they felt like an adrenaline rush only lasting about a minute or so. I would get SOB, heart would race, my eyes would cross, cold sweat, and legs would get rubbery. When i told him this he said it was anxiety and wanted me to try medication. I said no as long as im not dying i was fine with them since it rarely happened and only lasted a minute or less. Then 2 weeks later i got sinus infection took a zpack and my life went to hell i spent the next 5 weeks in constant adrenaline rush/crazy state. Now i cant gain weight no matter what i do. Im 96 pounds at the moment and im getting worried. Sorry for long message just want a different drs opinion if i should let this go or push for an explanation.

Most likely anxiety but pheochromocytoma to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
The whole aspect of your decription sounds a lot like an anxiety issue. However, there is a rare endocrinological condition with elevated adrenaline levels that can cause attacks that can appear similar to panic issues called pheochromocytoma. This can be ruled out be special urine testing, your doc will know about it. Even though this is rare it could reassure you to get this tested that really nothing was overlooked/ missed out.
Regarding the lymphnodes: this is very likely nothing to worry about, as the radiologist describes that as non relevant. I don't think you should be concerned about it.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
anxiety possible, endocroninological cause possible> blood work
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
yes anxiety can come like that. Still endocrinological blood testing as mentioned above recommendable.
