Suggest Treatment For Anxiety

Question: i HAVE recently, changed my anti-depression medication, from Steraline50mg to Mirtazapine 30mg.
They are Helping me to sleep, but have not helped much with my Anxiety problems, I Have been taking them for 15 days should I GIVE THEM A BIT LONGER.

Hello and thanks for your query.

I understand that you are concerned about your anxiety symptoms after the recent switch of anti-depressant from Sertraline to Mirtazapine. Since you have been on Mirtazapine only for 15 days, I would advise you to wait for a couple of weeks more before you decide to make any changes. This is because it may take upto 4 weeks for antidepressants like Mirtazapine to bring about their full potential.
