Suggest Treatment For Arrhythmia Along With High BP

default
Posted on Thu, 5 Mar 2015
Question: I am having arrhythmias with a bp of 138/104. Last night it was arrhythmias with 99/78. What is going on? I'm 60 years old and have had arrhythmias off and on through out the last 8 years. I've tried metaprolol 25mg but it just leave me all over the place with readings. Should I go back to see my cardio doc again? Seems like nothing gets done????? Like I'm suppose to wait until I get sick enough.

Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question, reports and I understood your problem.
Following protocol should be followed for treating arrhythmia.
First we should controle heart rate, then we should restore the heart rhythm and then we should find out the cause of it and treat it accordingly.
There are few substances like caffeine alcohol which I will suggest you to avoid.
Arrhythmia has its own complications. So you should not ignore it at all.I will suggest you to consult with your doctor as soon as possible.
Do you further want to know what are different modalities of treating arrhythmia??
Thank you.
