Brief Answer:
Seems like arthritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

It seems more like arthritis, but other conditions should be evaluated too (fibromyalgia eg.).

Only ice and rest don't improve significantly your symptoms, so at first there is need for a correct diagnosis of your concerns and after that should be started a treatment.

I suggest you to discuss with your primary care Doctor your symptoms and tests needed ( blood work tests including fibrinogen, C-protein, sedimentation ratio) and x-rays of your painful joints, in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Treatment depends on tests results and consists on NSAID, or steroids antiinflamatory drugs.

You could use Ibuprofen 400 mg/ three times a day after meals ( if not allergic to it) to improve your symptoms.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
