Suggest Treatment For Asthma And Chronic Bronchitis
Question: I have severe (uncomplicated) Asthma and chronic bronchitis. I've been steadily going down hill, as far as my lungs are concerned, and see my Pulmonary Dr monthly...btw, I'm a 48 year old female who also suffers from Addison's and Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Pulmonary dr recently took me off my inhalers and told me to nebulize my meds only. He rx'd Brovana and Pulmicort. My asthma is still not being controlled and my o2 is hanging out around 89. I'm also on 20mg of Prednisone for the next 6 weeks.
My question is, is it safe to use DuoNeb throughout the day when I get short of breath and am wheezing and coughing bad? I would call my dr but he's gone for the day.
