Suggest Treatment For Back And Neck Pain With Pins And Needles Sensation

I have just visited a new doctor after a CT on my lumbar region and I think there was too much of a language barrier. Could you please tell me if any of this is anything to worry about? I have back and neck pain, I often get numbness and pins and needles in my legs and I on the last few visits to the physio had no response to the reflex test in my left achilles heal. The CT results have the following:
Minor left convex lumbar scoliosis, Mild Lumbar spondylosis with diffuse disc bulge at L3/4 and slightly more prominent one at L4/5, Mild thecal sac indentation at L4/5 with moderate bilateral exit foraminal narrowing. I am a 34 year old female. Thank you!
MRI findings indicate degenerative changes in lumbar spine.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
MRI findings indicate degenerative changes in lumbar spine.
It is due to chronic pull on annulus fibrosis.Findings are bit early in your case.
There is minor scoliosis(lateral bending)in lumbar spine towards left side.
There are also mild spondylotic changes in lumbar spine.
At L3-4 level, there is diffuse disc bulge.
Disc bulge is more at L4-5 level and it is causing mild thecal sac indentation.Disc bulge is also causing narrowing of lateral neural foramen(from which nerve roots exit) in both sides. It may be the reason for neurological symptoms.
Majority of degenerative disc disease patients are benefited by conservative treatment in the form of physiotherapy, analgesics and muscle relaxants.
You should try it first.
Surgery should be the last option.
You need evaluation by a neurologist/neurosurgeon.
Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.
Further queries are most welcome
