Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Infection Near Uterus

My wife had problem of fibroids earlier two times and we removed the same through Minimally-invasive procedures. It was coming frequently so dr. suggested to close one of the fallopian tube to avoid fibroids issues frequently. All went normal and for two months. She is also having thyroid problem so she has to take regular medicine. But due to operation she stopped taking medicine for a month. After thyroid test t3 was more so we started thyroid medicine and due to heat issue in body, doctor suggested to stop the medicine given for recovery of fallopian tube block operation.
Now after a month, she started having heat issue again, and doctor identified that she has bacterial infection near uterus. There are two ways we can remove this bacterial infection
1. By medicine for 2-3 months
2. By surgical operation Minimally-invasive procedures
She suggested for surgical operation because by going through medicine procedure, bacteria may enter the uterus through one fallopian tube which was left open and it can cause infection in the uterus.
Can you please suggest should we go for second option or first option and is it proper suggestion for binfection around uterus?
Infection can be treated best with medical line of treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. I welcome you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) Firstly I could not relate to tying of fallopian tubes to control growth of the fibroid. I think medical description of the procedure in medical language will help to understand the situation.
3 ) Unless there is abscess or loculated pus , infection can be safely treated with medicines.
I hope this answer helps you.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
