Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Vaginosis
Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX I'm 34 I have bacterial vaginosis which as you no it's a really bad case of thrush, so what's happening is its not budging I can't seem to beat this it's driving me insane. So I tried every over counter medicine and then went had swabs done it came back as I said above doctor gave me clindamycin to take for seven days I nearly did that but I lost two of my tablets down drain and it went away so I stopped takin them properly it then came back I went back doctors gave me another script and I've been takin them for six days it's done nothin I fact it's worse than ever red swollen very sore please help me I'm dying :)

2)I can understand the pain and agony that you must be suffering . Bacterial vaginosis needs keen attention and personal hygiene, though not serious it can be troubling issue if not treated in time.
3) I will suggest to keep private parts clean and dry.
In addition, I would treat you with
- Tab Metronidazole 400 mg, 3 times a day for 5 days
- Localvaginal tablet of Clidamycin plus clotrimazole,
-probiotic like Cap VIBACT DS once a day for 10 days
- Lactacyd vaginal wash daily at bath time,
- oral antifungal Tab Fluconazole 150 mg stat
Discuss with your treating doctor.
4) If you are sexually active,please use condom during sex act for better vaginal hygiene.
Use of pain killer like Aspirin or Paracetamol as needed will be of help.
