You may try a steroid cream. Be sure to consult a specialist at the earliest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXX,

Thank you for your query.

Please try Betamethasone cream to make the skin soft. You can use it 2 times a day for 5 days. But there is a risk of making the infection worse.

Clean the prepuce and glans with Betadin (Povidon iodine) solution twice a day, and keep the area dry by keeping a cotton gauge near the prepuce (foreskin) inside the underwear.

I would consider the chances of infection (balanitis) high because, you did not seem to have had this issue before, and you are facing the issue since 15 days only.

Balanitis can be easily treated with antibiotic creams/solutions and proper hygiene of the prepuce and glans penis, if balanitis is a part of sexually transmitted disease, then the exact disease needs to be identified and treated with appropriate medication.

If your problem is indeed due to para-phimosis (which is more likely than phimosis in your case, again this can only be assessed well by actual physical examination), then a release surgery is the definitive treatment.

Please do consult an urologist and a skin specialist at the earliest and take the appropriate treatment.

I hope I have answered your query adequately, if you have any further concerns, please feel free to write back to me.

Wishing you speedy recovery.

Best regards.
