Brief Answer:
Looks like basal cell carcinoma (BCC)

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the image attached. Going by the looks, it resembles a typical basal cell carcinoma (BCC). It does not look like a squamous cell carcimoma (SCC) or melanoma. But please note that these the actual diagnosis can only be confirmed after a skin biopsy or histopathology. I would request you to seek an urgent dermatological care so that appropriate interventions can be made without any delay.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply Dr.
I am attaching a better picture of what it looked like before I accidentally picked off the scab/plaque.
I was told that the scab/plaque was dead skin and that was normal .
When I picked the scab off accidentally it bled so I put denatured alcohol on it and covered it with cotton and a band aid for a day and it stopped the bleeding! Seems now to be covering again as it was before! So I'm assuming thats a goood sign.
Can you tell me anymore info by looking at the pic I am now sending?
Thanks again.
The dime in the picture is to show you the size of the BCC in question!

Brief Answer:
Still looks like BCC; or something even less serious

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking back

I have closely seen the image attached. It did not convey much new information. It did not look like SCC or melanoma. Going by looks alone, it either seems to be BCC or something even less serious (non-cancerous). But it is hard to comment by looks alone. You need to get it examined by a dermatologist and also need to get a histopathological analysis done.

The scab looks normal.

Hope that helps.
