I have just taken 20 MG of Hydroxyzine Hcl with no relief from itching. My forearms are now itching and show red splotches, also. I also have available Hydroxyzine Pamoate 25Mg and Oxycodone 5MG/ Acetaminophen 325 MG, Prescribed for allergies and Pain, respectively, as well as Ibruprophen and Hydrocortisone for itching. I am a 74 year white male weighing about 185 Pounds. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. XXXXXXX XXXX, YYYY@YYYY

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but it seems that you having an allergic reaction to be stings , I would recommend that you start taking hydrocortisone 20 mg twice daily together with oxycodone / acetaminophen three times daily .. Also you should apply an antihistaminic ointement on your hands and forearm three times daily.. if your symptoms did not start to improve or the itching and redness keeps spreading then you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to take dexamethasone and avil injection to abort the allergic attack. I hope I answered your question.
