Suggest Treatment For Benign Junctional Nevus

Question: Hi,
I have a dermatologist and have regular skin checks but just wanted to check this (attached). Its a tiny mole that I noticed on my side. Its tiny as you can see but seems to kind of have two colors or maybe just pores in my skin make it look that way. I do have a fee other really small ones that look similar. I just get a bit paranoid with my moles and the ABCDE scale. Does this look okay?

Brief Answer:
Looks normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone throguh your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
This one looks quite Ok to me. It is well defined, XXXXXXX to brown in color, small size, oval, has regular margins and looks symmetric. The fact that you have similar moles and moreover if it has'nt changed from what it looked before is a more important factor to consider rather than a slight variation in color as the only criteria.
At least 3 out of the follwing criteria are required to establish the diagnosis of atypical nevus i.e size >5 mm, irregular borders, asymmetry, varying shades of color and raised component. Considering these the nevus in question looks quite normal
Regards

Thank you. Am i correct in thinking the little round darker patch in the mole is where a hair folicule is? I think a dermatologist said this in the past.
Brief Answer:
Benign junctional nevus
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I don't agree with it being darker due to a hair follicle. It is just that it is little darker in the center than at the periphery probably because the pigment is more superficially located in the center part than at the periphery. It is a benign junctional nevus.
