Suggest Treatment For Bilateral Tingling Sensations On The Limbs
Question: Hey I've been getting bilateral tingling sensations ok both hands and lower legs and feet. Sometimes it's warm tingling sensations. Been to the doctor twice. Ran a blood test, all blood work for vitamin deficiency and A1C/cholesterol are in within normal range.
I have an MRI of the cervical and thoracic spine tomorrow.
I've have been in 3 car accidents in the last 3 years as well.
I also do have family history of arthritis and a half sister who had MS.
Do you know what could be causing the tingling in my hands and feet?

Since the MRI is the best exam to visualize such spinal cord involvement I completely agree about the need to have the MRI you mention.
If the MRI findings turns out do not justify the symptoms then peripheral neuropathy would be the next possibility, damage to the peripheral nerves. The most appropriate exam to evidence such peripheral nerve damage would be nerve conduction studies.
