Question: I'm 43 years old he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in my early 20s then read diagnosed with ADHD and major depression by one of the top psychiatrist in 2008 I fit under a tremendous amount of stress the last two years and my son comes to me tonight and says he thinks I'm a sociopath I don't even know what that entails I've had A lot of anxiety stress in life changes in the last six months any he suggestions.
Has a sidenote I do you have for brain tumors that were found in 2002 One on my pituitary gland that was causing problems I have been being followed by CT scan and very well-known neurologist since 2014 and there has been no change in three of the tumors the endocrine specialist gave me medicine to take to shrink the tumor on my pituitary gland in 2002 and also in 2014 your and I would be greatly appreciated

Having negative comments from one of the close family members always hurts any sensible person and I do not think you are exception. I think your son is wrong in saying that you are sociopath. As per my experience some of the persons with diagnosis of bipolar disorder sometime behave erratically but it is never with wrong intention. The person needs care and support rather than criticism.

I also like to inform you that he may be frustrated for some reason and we need to understand his concerns. It is always better to discuss these issues with care and compassion rather than feeling distressed as it resolves the problem in efficient manner.
