Brief Answer:
This requires examination of retina.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history.
The symptoms of sudden onset of black dots called as floaters and lines indicates posterior segment problems like posterior vitreous detachment, vitreous degenerations....
Most of these are age related and may not require any treatment. However retinal problems like retinal tears have to be ruled out. This requires evaluation by indirect ophthalmoscopy for examination of fundus involving vitreous and retina.

Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for fundus examination.
Do get back to me with the examination results.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
You can wait till tomorrow.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

You can wait till tomorrow. You need to avoid sternous activities like weight lifting, running, coughing as these may precipitate retinal tear if at all it is present.

You can consult your doctor tomorrow.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
