Suggest Treatment For Bladder Dysfunction After An Accident

Question: 3 days ago a log structure about 100 lbs fell on me striking my left temple, hip, and ribs and I was crushed to the ground, also hurting my back. the ribs hurt whenever I move and cause me to cry out. I have not been able to take a bowel movement since and cannot hold my bladder very well. shorts that I could wear 3 days ago now are 3'' to small around the waist. I have eaten only 3 times in 3 days. I have quit eating the previous 24 hours, because it is not coming out. I have taken a swig of vegetable oil three times in the previous 24 hours as a laxative to no avail. I am planning to go tomorrow for a cat scan to check for damage to organs or broken ribs in the back. the lowest rib in back shifts when I press it and sometimes I notice it while walking.

Brief Answer:
Bladder dysfunction,needs further investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.I am worried about the bladder and bowel dysfunction, this needs detail physical examination along with MRI of spine.
For your rib pain,I would recommend to use rib belt along with pain killer and muscle relaxant drugs beside rest in lying down position.
To help you better please tell me-
1.Is there any bed wetting ?
2.Any bruise at back ?
Looking forward to your reply.
Take care

no bed wetting, but when I have to go sometimes trickles out before I can get to the bathroom. I do not see any bruises.
thank you for almost answering. I kind of thought this was what it would be. '' go see a doctor'', but when dealing with such a situation I felt losing 15 bucks is no big deal. maybe I should buy a laxative. yeah when I try to go bm it seems like there is a disconnect between wanting to go and the muscles that push it out. preciate
