Dear Ms
Mild degree of fever is quite common during bladder infection(Cystitis). There is nothing to be worried about. Adequate water intake, antibiotic will be helpful.
If the fever is more than 39C then possibility of ascending infection needs to be ruled.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Thank u very much. Fever seems to be going down a bit now. Should the fever come back to over 38C,in say 3 hours, how long do i wait before i can give another suppository?
Brief Answer:
Give Paracetamol 6th hourly
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear Ms,
The normal body temperature is 37.4C. There is variation during day of +/- of 0.5 C. So temperature can range between 36.9 (37.4- 0.5) to 37.9(37.4 + 0.5). Give antipyretic only when the temperature is above 38.4C.
Giving antipyretic suppository followed by tepid sponging of body after 15 minutes will be much more beneficial. Suppository can be given every 6th Hourly (Paracetamol ).
