Suggest Treatment For Bleeding Gums

Seems to be severe gum infection..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain bleeding from gums and loosening of your teeth is an indication that you have severe infection in your teeth and it has led to loss of attachment of the gums from your teeth..
As your teeth have started loosening you should take care and proper treatment as there can be loss of teeth due to continuous loosening and finally falling off the teeth..
I would like to know a few more details so that I can guide you better towards treatment:
1. Since how long this problem is present?
2. Have you ever tested for diabetes?
3. Do you smoke?
4. Is there swelling and pain in gums?
5. Do you take any medication or are you having any medical problem?
6. As you said you visited the dentist/doctor, what did s/he advise you?
Please revert back soon with the answers..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.

Hi..
Welcome Back..
As per the answers, it seems that you have deep infection in your gums and due to infection only there has been bleeding, swelling as well as loose teeth..
If the loosening of teeth is minor then it is true that only scaling of the teeth and deep cleaning using the same scaling system can help in removing infectious deposits and gradually there can be improvement in the gum attachment over the teeth and it will reduce the mobility of teeth..
But in case if the teeth have become severely XXXXXXX then bone grafting and flap surgery is the correct line of treatment..
I would therefore suggest you to consult a Periodontist who are specialist in gum diseases and will evaluate you after examination of proper x rays like Full mouth x-ray known as Orthopantomogram [OPG] and will advise you treatment accordingly..
You can also send me a scan of the x ray so that I can evaluate it and advise you accordingly..
Any further queries are welcome..
Regards..

I think my gums are severely affected now, especially my front lower gums are more affected. In fact when I pull my lower lip, my gums also pull out (lower front gums holding lower 2 tooth).
I have OPG with me which I did in the month of January. Now my confusion started when the last doctor I visited told me that bone grafting won't work for me as I don't have vertical cavity in my teeth bones(underneath gums). He suggests that laser cleaning would be sufficient. I have to get this treated but I'm little confused which doctor to go for. I'm sending you my OPG report also.
Please suggest.

Scaling seems sufficient..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..
As per the OPG attached there is bone loss in certain areas in the lower jaw teeth but it is not appearing severe enough to go for flap surgery or bone grafting..
So it is right that first of all Scaling of the teeth and the area under the gums is to be done..
It will be followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers along with topical antibiotic ointment massage for reducing infection and swelling of gums..
In case if still the condition does not improve then we will look for other options..
As of now proceed with Scaling/ cleaning...
Regards..
