Suggest Treatment For Blisters And Pus On Uvula And Throat

Aphthoid - thrush ?
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I hope you do not have any other problem like diabetes or abdominal problems like IBS or colitis.
The recurrent nature of such a problem as detailed by you is suggestive of a few things like :
Recurrent aphthous (less than 3 mm) or aphthoid ( if more than 3 mm) ulcers.
The exact cause is not known, but an empirical treatment can be charted.
A course can be completed with an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotic. This does reduce the recurrence or in some cases can also help to have no recurrence .
It is possible that because of prednisone, there can be an added thrush so you got worsening of the problem.
I would advise to stop prednisone, start on oral application of an anti-fungal, id required oral anti-fungal tablet. Take plenty of water orally, this helps to cleanse the affected area best. Avoid mouth washes or so as they can harm the very tender healing ulcers. Start on multivitamins too.
I hope this would help you get a proper care and may help to get better early.
Consultation with an ENT does help to get a proper diagnosis as direct visualization clinches the diagnosis.
Please feel free to ask for more and please post a clear picture if possible.
