the risk of encephalitis is minor

Encephalitis is rare manifestation of herpes infection and more commonly it occurs in babies. In adults, it is almost always caused by herpes type I,while genital herpes is not likely to cause encephalitis. Also, first signs of encephalitis occur during blisters breakout and are associated with fever and brain function disorder. At this point you should see doctor who wil examine you, take samples and test for HSV. After it you cant start antiherpetic therapy. but you dont have te be worried about serious consequances.Wish you good health. Regards

Thank you for your answer it was refreshing i worry about alot of things and always think inam dying of something. but the blisters keep popping up and have not gone away and it has been about a month and half. is that normal?
Brief Answer:
you should start with antiherpetic therapy
Detailed Answer:
If there was, encephalitis would already occur and as I said this is very rare manifestation usually seen in seriously ill and children. You don't need to be so pesimistic. most hsv infections clear up spontaneously but it may persist for more weeks. At this point you should start with antiherpetic therapy to facilitate recovery. Wish you good health.
