Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Fingers And Toes During The Summer Season
Dyshidrotic eczema and its management
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
These tiny blisters on fingers and toes can be due to dyshidrotic eczema.
It is a form of eczema which is usually endogenous in origin that is related to the internal sensitivity of the individual though it can be associated with seasonal changes, hereditary factors, certain chemicals and even hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet.
You need to avoid frequent washing of hands, avoid frequent use of soaps and detergents, keep your hands and feet moisturised by frequent and liberal use of moisturising creams and wear gloves when working with chemicals.
Besides this if I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply steroid creams like clobetasol propionate or betamethasone cream on these blisters twice daily for 10-14 days and take antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine 4 mg once daily at bedtime .
This will take few days to resolve.
Steroidal creams are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to clarify any further doubts.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
