Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Fingers

Question: Hi. I'm XXXX - 59 y.o. healthy male. I pricked my finger about 6 months ago ... I think it was from a spikey bit of a plant, while gardening. It created a blister-like thing on my finger which has not gone away since. I mentioned it to my doc ages ago, who was reluctant to XXXXXXX it, and suggested I try applying magnoplasm to draw out any particle. That didn't work, nor have a range of antiseptic creams. It's only small, but annoying. I can squish it and it seems to push the clear fluid underground, and flatten the blister, but it always comes back. It occasionally gets a bit reddish looking, but usually not.
