
Suggest Treatment For Blood At Urethral Opening

1.hypertension- taking sartel -40,nexovas-5 and rosuvas-5.
2.neurofibroma- no medicine
recently,I noticed blood stain at tip of urethral meatus and so I consulted my physician.He advised me to perform following tests:
1.blood for Hb,tc,dc,ese,pleatlet
2.blood for urea,creatinine
3.urine routine microscopic examination
4.x-ray KUBP
5.usg KUBP
all reports came normal.but in usg report it is stated,"prostate is slightly increased in size.outline and echotexture are normal.seminal vesicles are normal.prostate size is 3.6cm x 3.8cm x 2.9cm.apprximate weight of prostate is 21grams." it has also been mentioned that post void residual volume of urine is insignificant(18cc).
in conclusion it is stated,"borderline enlargement of prostate".
on 2007,I did usg of abdomen and in that report,size was 3cm x 3.4cm x2.8cm and weight was 16grams.
it may be mentioned that I do not feel any pain,burning sensation during urination.speed of urine is quite high,and neither I require long time to void my urine.
my father,aged 80,was suffering from prostate problem for past 3 years and after TURP carcinoma of prostate has been identified.
under these circmstances,my questions are:
1.what is the meaning of borderline enlargement of prostate?
2.why such enhancement occurs?
3.does it indicate prostate rumour?
4.what should I do now?
In question no.3,it will be "tumour" instead of "rumour".
another question is how dengerous my present position of prostate is??

causes of blood at urethral opening are- uretritis i.e infection of the urine passage, or infection of prostate, after sexual intercourse, local ulcers, many kidney and urine bladder disorders.

1.what is the meaning of borderline enlargement of prostate?
normally prostate gland is 15 gm in size. when the size is slightly increased it is called borderline increase in size.
2.why such enhancement occurs?
enlargement of prostate occurs in all males- it is age related.
3.does it indicate prostate tumour?
Not all prostate enlargement are due to tumor. less then 1 %.
4.what should I do now?
You should get PSA ( Prostate specific antigen test done. Take a course of antibiotic like levofloxacin- under guidance of your doctor.

No, But there are treatment which can hold the increase in size. we generally start above 25 gm prostate with symptoms.
By the information supplyed it appears to be age related.But PSA levels have to be done and per rectal examination should be done by a docto r to coraborate.
