Suggest Treatment For Blood Blister On Vagina

Question: Hello I have one blood blister on my vagina, it is painful to touch and if I pinch in the shower it bleeds heavy. What could be the cause of this? and how do I get rid of it as soon as possible.
Brief Answer:
Takes 2-3 weeks to heal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The blood blisters can appear due to a trauma to the area or spontaneously without any specific reason. If there is active bleeding on pinching it and it is painful then possibility of an infection needs to be ruled out.
Do consult your gynecologist for proper antibiotics and avoid touching it frequently. Usually it subsides on its own in 2-3 weeks if there is no infection.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Could it be caused from shaving? because I think it started out as a razor bump and then due to friction, or sexual inner course maybe that maybe it irritated and cause it. Also is there any way to speed up the heeling process? Are you supposed to pop blood blisters? will that make it worse or help?
Brief Answer:
Do not pop the blister.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Yes it can be caused by injury due to shaving and rough intercourse. Doing a cold compress will help in earlier healing.
Do not pop the blister as it will increase the chances of infection in the area.
Hope my answer is helpful.
