Brief Answer:
Treatment is going on along correct lines.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back with CT scan reports. I have seen the films as well as the reports. The can shows a large brain hemorrhage on the right side of brain. This would cause weakness of hands and legs, more on the left side, with loss of consciousness.

1. The main treatment is control of blood pressure.

2. An external ventricular drain (EVD) is placed in the brain to remove excess blood and fluid.

3. In some cases, a ventilator may be needed if brain swelling increases.

First one week is crucial, during which there is a risk of death too.

Improvement is likely to be slow and it would take at least 2-3 weeks to regain consciousness and strength.

Best wishes,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)

Brief Answer:
Treatment is same everywhere.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

Treatment for brain hemorrhage is same everywhere, as I have discussed above.

Ayurveda/homeopathy would not be helpful in this condition.

Best wishes,
