Brief Answer:
A catheter will not help. Just take plenty of water to drink.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

It is in fact good to hear that the kidney stone has already passed down into your urinary bladder. The pain is due to the spasm of the ureters that was trying to propel the stone down into the bladder. If you have evidence that it has already happened, the rest will occur automatically and the stone will get expelled soon. There can be some blood but I would not worry about it. All you need to do is to take plenty of water and fluids to drink and the stone will automatically get flushed away. A catheter would rather block the path and would obstruct the passing out of the stone. So, I would not recommend that.

Just be patient and take plenty of water and the stone will get flushed out on its own.
