Brief Answer:
The cause needs to be evaluated.Investigations required.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concerns. Since your doctor has ruled out the recurrence of cancer, the most likely cause would be due to allergic response of the body. I would insist you to get your blood tested for IgE levels and to get a routine blood count done wherein I would be looking for a raised eosinophil count. The rise in these two parameters will confirm allergic cause, else other causes need to be explored. I would suggest you to upload the reports using the facility on the upper right of this page after you have got the tests done.
In the meantime you take take antiallergics like cetirizine. Application of calamine lotion should have a soothing effect.
Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your response. My pcp left the practice and on 7/24/2015 @ 3pn I will visit XXXXXXX Camilletti who will take me on as a new patient. I will request med refills because I do take prednisone and I will request the IgE blood test and get a routine blood count. Prayerfully I will find out what is causing the itching and ultimately get this under control. I be back in touch with you.

Thanks again!!!
