Brief Answer:
Will need surgery plus radiation and chemotherapy likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Your mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, the treatment depends on stage. As there are large armpit glands, stage may be locally advanced. So we should do CT scan chest and abdomen with whole body bone scan, to rule out any other spread.

If there is no spread elsewhere, consider surgery followed by Chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy and targeted therapy, as required as per biopsy report. Else, if doctors feel it is quite large or advanced, then chemo followed by surgery and other treatment modalities.

If it has not spread elsewhere, cure is still possible.

Hope this helps.
Regards
