Suggest Treatment For Breathing Difficulty During Climatic Changes
May need to adjust/supplement the dose
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Allergy is a common problem and climate change is often the trigger for the symptoms.
Avoidance of exposure to a known allergen is a good option but is not practical most of the times.
Bronchodlators and steroids in the form of inhalers are the most commonly used safe treatment options.
If you suffer from breathing problems more at night, the night time dose of the inhaler needs to be adjusted and you have to talk to your doctor specifically stating this problem. Some times in the seasons in which patient is more prone to problems, a supplementary does of same of different drug is recommended.
But all these changes can be made by the doctor who is following you on long term basis and you need to consult a pulmonologist or ENT for this.
Feel free to ask another query.
