Suggest Treatment For Broken Bone In The Hand Of A Child
Question: hello sir/madam. my son (4 yrs) had a fracture on hand. the bone broke and went over one another. we went to doctor and he told to operate and suggested that they had to put an titanium wire and put them straight . consider all the costs he told it looks like very expensive. i couldnot think of asking anybody other than the doctors in healthcare magic for a suggestion. please understand our situation and please suggest us the avg cost involved in doing this so that we can take a decision. Thanks alot for help in needy time.

i have uploaded the xray. we stay in XXXXXXX the fracture is for left arm.

There is a fracture of both bones of the forearm. This fracture can be easily treated without surgery with the help of proper reduction and cast application. Even if any mild dislocation remains, the bone gets remodelled on its own in six months and functionally there is no problem in the arm. In case you want to get it fixed surgically then the cost of surgery should be around 20,000INR.
