Suggest Treatment For Broken Toe
Question: Does a broken toe ever require something other than taping. Three weeks have gone by and toe not much better. Primary care doctor wants to x-ray again this week because he doesn't like the way toe looks.

Usually toes get healed in a month time but that depends upon how bad is the fracture. Some time bone is so displaced that it needs some sort of surgical procedure.
I would suggest you to get a x ray and send it to me. Also discuss with your doctor.
Surgical procedure for toe are small wires which are used to keep fracture in place. Wires can be removed after 3 weeks.
