Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis, Cough And Indigestion

Question: I have had bronchitis for the pass two weeks. Dr. put me on antibiotics and steroids . I finish all meds two days ago. Now I still have cough but also bad indigestion (chest hurts and back hurts to breath) my shoulders, back hurt to the touch. Very tired and foggy head. should I follow up with dr or assume Im still recovering from bronchitis

I can understand your concern

Usually it takes time to recover after a bronchitis especially if the situation has been serious according to the history you provide.

Don't worry about the cough it will disappear with time.

The problems in digestion or hurts in your body might be a side effects of steroids use.They are commonly known. For these you can take antiacids for some days (like Omeprazol once before meal) and Ibrufen twice orally.

If the situation continues for a long time (two weeks and more) it would be better for you to consult with your treating doctor for further follow up.

In my opinion bronchitis has gone now.
