Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Foot After Lumbar Fusion Procedure
Question: Since having a lumbar fusion in 08 I have a bruise that grows on the top of my foot. It becomes painful to the touch. Why does it come and go?

I'm not currently on any medications and have no clue as to what is causing the bruise to grow. It never completely goes away and is painful to the touch. I uploaded a photo per your request also. Thank you for your help

I have a strong feeling that your shoes might not be very much adapted. I will like that you personally review them. If possible, see a podiatrist to counsel you on what shoes types will take off pressure from the back of your foot because increased pressure seems the most contributing factor to this bruise.
