I attached 2 pics. The bump is above the right eye...I'm not sure if it is visible in the pic, and the black eye is below both eyes...........this is a straight co-relation to the time when I injured myself 6 mths ago
Brief Answer:
Bump has to be examined clinically, don't apply melacare
Detailed Answer:
Hi!!
I have seen the attached photographs. Both the bump and pigmentation under the eyes are visible.
As far as pigmentation under the eyes are concerned you need to avoid stress, take a proper sleep, avoid applying XXXXXXX under the eyes, avoid rubbing the eyes and take plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Don't apply melacare under the eyes as it contains potent steroid, tretinoin and hydroquinone which is not recommended for application over the eyelids. In such cases I recommend my patients to apply mild preparations like melaglow cream or kojivit cream to be applied twice daily on the affected areas. Also apply a high spf sunscreen on your entire face at intervals of 3-4 hours during the day time.
The bump has to be examined clinically by a dermatologist so as to see its consistency, attachment to underlying structures or overlying skin, whether it's XXXXXXX or not. Then only decision regarding its treatment can be taken.
I hope to have answered your query.
I would be happy to clarify any further doubts.
Good luck

I guess I haven't been successful in explaining my black eye
I never had black eye because is stress n long work hrs. My black eye is a result of blood flowing down the capillaries when I injured my forehead ....it was a bad fall where I hit the corner of the door
There was internal bleeding that led to a big black eye on both sides. Over the last 6 mths a lot of it has gone away but this remains....that's why I thought I'd consult a specialist

Brief Answer:
creams are effective even if discolouration is due to capillary leak
Detailed Answer:
I can understand that you developed black eye due to your injury. At present I can appreciate some darkness under both the eyes. The creams that I have mentioned are effective even if the cause of discolouration is capillary leak which is in your case. So you can try them but they need to be applied for at least 3-4 months.
