Brief Answer:
Any nausea? Vomiting, decreased stamina while standing.

Detailed Answer:
Good evening. My name is Dr. Saghafi and I'm a neurologist in the XXXXXXX OH region of the world. It's good to hear that your daughter is not seriously injured. I have 4 children myself from 17-21 years and just get so crazy every time my phone rings during the day that somehow they've gotten in trouble in some way with their cars on the road....oh well, what all parents worry about...

Did your daughter get dazed when striking her head? Seeing bright lights or stars, nauseous in any little way after the accident. Was she confused for any period of time afterward? Was there any loss of consciousness? Please describe the circumstances of the accident.

Certainly, if your daughter gets overly sleepy or tired or is difficult at all to wake up every few hours then, your next move should be to the ER. If her speech becomes slurred, she has a bad headache, or other types of neurological complications start happening then, obviously those are large red flags and you need to get medical personnel involved right away. Also, if she starts complaining of more pain in the area of the bump or if the bump increases in size those also would be warning signs of impending danger and need to be checked out.

I anticipate that she will be fine tonight from your description of things.

If this information has been helpful and I've answered your question satisfactorily would you do me the favor of some written feedback and a STAR RATING of the answer. Should you have no further questions or comments to place- CLOSING THE QUERY would be greatly appreciated as well.

In the future I'm happy to answer more concerns personally if you'd allow me this privilege by going to the following website and sending me your questions:
