I do shave that area once every couple months and i have had sex once but it was protected. The bumps were there before the sex happened. No pain or burning either. I just want to get rid of them without having to tell my parents whats going on. Im sure you could relatw to why i dont want to tell them...

Brief Answer:
Bumps at this area are simple proliferation of oil glands and hair roots.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Welcome again and thanks for posting details. Though I required your pictures but even then by your description it appears to be simple proliferation of oil glands and hair roots.

After thoroughly analyzing the details let me first and foremost reassure you that these bumps are the normal natural thing of our skin.

To tell you simply about these spots- these are formed due to more prominence of the sebaceous glands (oil glands) of the skin. Basically these are proliferation of the normal oil glands which are present over this area. These are totally asymptomatic (without any problem).

The penile and scrotal skin is one of the thinnest skin over the body. The hair root and the oil glands attached to it are quite prominent and more so in young adults where there is more activity of the oil glands is present.

Therefore these appears as bumps on the base of penis as well as over the scrotal skin.

There is no need to do anything for the same and can be left as it is. I fully reassure you for these bumps as normal natural thing and request you to not to pay so much of attention on the same.

I hope these information will help you. I will be glad to answer any further of your queries.

Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
You need to do anything provocatively for the same.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Welcome again and thanks for your further follow up.

These proliferation depends individually. It may last for few years to multiple of years depending on the thickness of skin. Actually speaking these are dependent of the oil activity of the glands. As the oil activity recedes then accordingly the prominence is also reduced.

SO overall you need to do anything provocatively for the same. I reassure you that these are normal glands and nothing abnormal in the same.

I hope these information will help you. I will be glad to answer any further of your queries or if not then can close the query and rate the answer.

Wish you good health.

I head of using a shower "loofa" to rub some of the oil out of the pimples... Will this help? I understand your diagnosis and the acceptance of waiting for it to go away on its own but im just curious if there are any non medicated ways to get rid of them faster. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Brief Answer:
"loofa" can harm the soft scrotal skin and therefore not advisable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Welcoem back to the forum and thanks a lot for your further follow up.

Regarding using a shower "loofa" to rub some of the oil out of the pimples: These can actually damage the soft scrotal skin and therefore not advisable. Our scrotal skin is very soft and thin skin, so these can harm the same.

I suggest you to do just relax for any issues and need not to do anything proactively.I many a times treat your kind of cases who unnecessarily do one or the other thing and then harm the scrotal skin.

So any of these things are therefore are not recommended.

I hope these information will help you. I will be glad to answer any further of your queries or if not then can close the query and rate the answer.

Wish you good health.
