Suggest Treatment For Burn Patches On Forehead

Question: Hi doc i got neostarta chemical peel 20 days back as a result i got burn patches on forehead and cheek that turned into black spots which look very ugly.when i consulted my doctor she given me lobate skin cream to apply on patches she says it will disappear in 15 days..i am in very depression .can you please guide me am i using right treatment or these patches are permanent.

Thanks for the query and photograph.
These patches are post inflammatory hyper pigmentation due to chemical burn.
Lobate is a strong steroid and is helpful in such conditions.
Apply Lobate in night and a sunscreen with spf 50 in day.
This will prevent further pigmentation.

The normal skin turnover is 28 days. It means in 28 days new skin appears and old us shed off.
Hence it may take around same time for this patch to disappear. Let me know if you have any other doubts.
