I had eczema last year and it got cured , but then a couple of weeks back I had burning sensation on my scrotum, it seemed reddish and really itchy and I couldnt control itching it and later it got flaky and swelling right below the penis. And as I couldnt control it anymore I applied the Tenovate cream which I was prescribed earlier , but it only helped for a couple of hours and then it started to get itchy as before. by lesions I meant the bruises that formed by scratching with my nails. the part effected is my scrotum. But as I happened to itch my neck after I itched my scrotum now my neck started to itch. It sounds funny but this itch on my scrotum is a real nightmare, cants even sleep proper at times nor wear jeans as its sweats it turns horrible. No I dont have any other disease. So its just my scrotum, its reddish and flaky at the bottom and above its kinda swelly greyish. I dont see an option to send photo, but this is how it looks like : http://oi61.tinypic.com/bhh9hj.jpg. and this too http://oi58.tinypic.com/156vbli.jpg. I am still applying this Tenovate cream twice as it gets me some relief.
hope you understand me , sorry for my bad English.

Brief Answer:
Scrotal dermatitis with secondary bactetial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back and thanks for history you provided. There ie a facility to upload the photos on the right side of query.you can try again.

After reading history, I could conclude that you may be having the skin disease called scrotal dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection.

I would like to suggest as follow..

- antihistaminics like levocetirizine 5 mg twice a day till itch is relieved
- antibiotics like cephalaxin 250 mg thrice a day for 1 week
- oral steroids like methyle prednesolone 4 mg thrice a day for one week, then tapper the dose twice a day for one week, once a day for one week then one tab alternate days for two weeks..then stop.
- apply mild steroid like eumosone with antibiotic cream like gentamycine twice a day on the lesions. Please avoid tenovate cream as it is strong
- take a Sitz bath in tub containing water mixed with dettol few drops at bath
- wear cotton cloths which are comfortable.

Take treatment under observation of dermatologist...ok

I hope this would help you. Still any query, you are welcome.

Thanks.

Wishing you early recovery...
