Brief Answer:
Soft tissue injury likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain and burning on the left lower back that you have is likely to be due to a soft tissue injury in the area causing a local swelling. Most of the times such injuries do take 2-3 weeks to improve.
You can help the improvement by-
1. Avoid any strenuous exercises, lifting weights, climbing stairs, etc.
2. Take a mild pain killer like acetaminophen every 8 hourly.
3. Do a hot fomentation in the area twice daily.
4. You can apply a local analgesic gel like Volini also.
Do consult an Orthopedician for a physical examination and stronger prescription medicines in case there is swelling, persistent pain and difficulty in walking.
I hope this answers your query.

I am able to move comfortably all around my body except for my lower left back. I do feel swelling. I feel better today than yesterday. I couldn't even sit up. Today I can set up but tend to shift my weight towards my right. In bed, I can only sleep on my right hand side and on my back. I can not sleep on my left had side yet. Will I be able to bend towards the floor without feeling pain? and also I can't twist to my left without feeling a burning tingling pain there...I can fully twist right without any issues at all

Brief Answer:
You need rest to heal well.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Since the injury is not even 48 hours old, you need to avoid all painful movements. Do not bend forward or lift any weight for at least 2 weeks. Do not try to touch floor by bending. It can cause further damage. You need to take rest for proper healing. Avoid do not lie down or twist towards left side. This will all heal in next 2 weeks.
Hope my answer is helpful.
