Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Mouth?

Question: I have stopped chewing guthka but now having burning sensation in my mouth checked with the internal medicine soctor but no sign of cancer currently using gengigel Hyaluronic Acid and Xanax 0.5 mg (Alprazolam) but relief not there cannot eat spicy foods pls help

Hi, thanks for your query.
In my opinion, you might be having oral submucosal fibrosis.
This is precancerous buccal mucosal changes seen in people chewing gutka.
It is treated with triamicilone+ hyaluronidase injection twice a week for 6 weeks + multivitamin tablet + steroid tablet for 7 days. Continue your medication as prescribed. Discuss my views with your doctor and get treated. It will take at least 6 weeks for you to see the effect of medicines.
It is good that you have stopped using gutka.
