Brief Answer:
It could be due to Anal fissure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description, it looks like Anal Fissure.
It is a crack in the Anal canal near Anal opening. Hard stool causes trauma to the inner mucosal layer of the anal canal causing Fissure.
Sometimes, there will be bleeding due to trauma.
Initially, you can try with life style changes.
You should take high fiber diet, drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
You should avoid spicy food.
You should stop Non vegetarian food and Alcohol if you take them.
I prescribe Ointment containing Diltiazem for application in anal canal.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Preparation H is for haemorrhoids.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
The bump that is coming out is a Sentinel pile ,a skin tag seen in Anal fissure.
If you follow the dietary changes, symptoms will be relieved within 5 to 7 days.
Preparation H is for Haemorrhoids. It has no role in Fissure in ano.
Please consult a General surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.

But, hemorrhoid or piles has to be excluded . It can be excluded after clinical examination by a General surgeon.

If it is in the early stage, dietary modifications will cure the disease.
