Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Leg While On Antibiotics

Question: How do I treat a bad burn on the calf of my leg, 4 inches by 2 inches, infected, happened two weeks ago, am on antibiotics. Very painful! Should I put peroxide on it? Should I keep it bandaged or let it air? Should I keep ointment on it all the time? Last tetnus shot 9 years ago.

1. I will appreciate that you upload an image of this area for review. This way, the response can meet your needs as a person as opposed to a generic one which only talks about wounds. I hope to receive one and make the calls from it. The question on whether to apply hydrogen peroxide or not as well as antibiotics would be addressed then. Wound care would be addressed after reviewing this area.

2. If you have received at least 5 tetanos shots in all, you have a lifetime protection and do not need any further shots. Even if that were not the case, 9years still protects as a booster cover for a minimum of 10years.
