Suggest Treatment For Cervical Spinal Stenosis
Question: I had two surgeries on my right shoulder and I ended up with constant pain and it has been increasing over time, I told my Dr. but I never get a straight answer I feel like nobody listens. I also have cervical stenosis and they believed that causes the pain on my upper back. but the shoulder has been hurting right after the surgery. What can I do? my last surgery was on 2009. I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis this year. Thank you!
Brief Answer:
Surgery for cervical stenosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query
One thing I want to make clear is that treatment for cervical canal stenosis, is physiotherapy, painkillers and at last surgery.
Pain in shoulder joint may also be due to nerve compression in cervical area or due to previous surgery.
You haven't mentioned which surgery had been performed on your shoulder, its arthroscopic or open, its tendon repair, bursa removal or bony procedure.
Anyway, first you should get treatment of cervical stenosis, then think of shoulder.
Also get physical examination done in Emergency Room and send me the report.
Thanks,
